Hi, I’m Shelley—cardmaker, creativity seeker, and believer in the power of small, meaningful gestures.

By day, I work in higher education, but my creative heart lives in paper, ink, and handmade kindness. I’ve always loved sending cards, and after a stretch away from crafting, I rediscovered my creative spark through cardmaking. What began as a way to encourage a friend during a difficult time quickly blossomed into a full-fledged passion (and a growing collection of supplies I promise to use eventually).

I believe that in a world that sometimes feels distant or divided, handmade cards are tiny acts of hope and connection. Through this blog, I’ll be sharing the joys, messes, and lessons of my creative journey—one card at a time.

When I’m not crafting, you’ll find me snuggling my sweet Havanese pup Itsy, watching period dramas or British mysteries, or reading mystery novels. I’m also a lifelong learner and a bit of a class hoarder, always chasing the next technique or inspiration.
